How it began

Okay, so I wake up at noon and look around in my kitchen if my maid has prepared anything at all for breakfast. And as usual, there was nothing!!

Which of course was a good thing, coz I would be ordering something for brunch. Just that I was too lazy to pick up my phone and place an order on faasos or box8, just like I am feeling while writing this post. My roommate suggested swiggy. Reluctantly, I ordered a ‘Premium Thali Meal’ from Maharaja Bhog, Powai.

The packing

An hour later, my order arrived at my doorstep, and I got this beautifully packed thali:

The packing An hour later, my order arrived at my doorstep, and I got this beautifully packed thali: I wish I hadn't gone beyond the packing, but I had to… Coz I freaking hungry! The vegetarian meal was supposed to be a blend of Gujju and Rajasthani thali but had more of a Rajasthani touch. What was in the box Potato curry (Aloo ki sabji)Dal curry (lentil curry)Palak paneer (green spniach curry with cottage cheese)5 Chapatis Rice2 Gulab jamunsFarsan I ak sorry but I did not get any farsan bhaji as mentioned on the app. What i got was some runny dal like soup. The quantity was very very negligible. The chapatis were small but too hard to crack. As for the curries, they were good and different from the usual tastes of restaurants in Mumbai. The best part was the gulab jamun!!! The sweetneat made up for all my grievances of the bygone week. Overall, I had a fulfilling meal and I would rate this with a 3.5 Meal stars!!!! Perfect for those who do not like spicy food. I liked the taste and everything seemed well cooked.
